Amy had to work really hard to lose weight and it was deeply personal goal for her. Her weight loss does not mean weight loss SHOULD be the goal. It was her goal and she has crushed it. Apart of her initial goal was simply “to do the thing until she met goal weight” But she has FALLEN IN LOVE with exercise, and that is such a beautiful thing. We want to share her journey to inspire you. You can achieve your goals too.

Amy asks me how I got back into therapy with this episode and if I am honest I don’t really answer her. I struggle with my mental health and while I have a lot of experiences with dealing with mental health, I don’t know if I am always doing or saying the right things. I think in the same way weight loss and the idea of it really triggers some people, so to I think mental health can feel triggering.

We have the power to come at things how we choose too. We can choose to believe a scarcity mindset or buy into the lies we tell ourselves, like we don’t have time. But at some point we do have to face our bullshit. I just want to share movement and health with the world and I don’t want to mess it up or hurt people. Remember the power in our words and our perceptions and know you have the power to do anything you set your mind to.
